This was a great article (Empty Kitchens, April 3) and very well written. My question was not addressed in the article, however. If many immigrants have been illegally living and working in the US the questions remain:
1. What social security number are they using?
2. Did American citizens hire them illegally ?
3 If they have done nothing wrong with being in the country undocumented why are they so scared?
4. Is it fair to legal American citizens or legal immigrants to have jobs they cannot acquire due to those living here illegally?
5. Will wages remain stagnant if the undocumented continue to be hired over legal citizens?
