Donate Support nonprofit journalism in the Central Coast

Thanks to a generous grant from NewsMatch, your donation is doubled.

So easy! Just click the donate button to contribute by credit/debit card or PayPal. Or you can click on the green banner to donate at NewsMatch’s site on GiveGab. Or you help the old-fashioned way by sending us a check at the address below.

Whichever way you choose, your contribution is doubled — and it’s tax-deductible.

Why donate?
Well, we’re a nonprofit news organization working to help make change in our local community. We don’t have a wealthy corporate owner, and while many of us at VOMB volunteer our time and resources, we still have bills to pay. If you believe the Central Coast deserves a high-quality, non-partisan, diverse and inclusive news source, please consider a contribution. If you can, choose a monthly amount to sustain our work over the long haul.

Your contribution is doubled
And the best news is that if you donate now, your contribution will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Knight Foundation and the Democracy Fund. Those foundations have committed $3 million to nonprofit news operations, and Voices of Monterey Bay was honored to be selected for their assistance. The News Match campaign period continues through the end of the year. You can donate from the button above, or here. Your tax-deductible contribution will be matched at either site.

Checks should be made out to “Institute for Nonprofit News,” with “Voices of Monterey Bay” in the memo space. They can be mailed to:

Large or small, we’ll appreciate it.
