Eric Palmer studied documentary filmmaking at CSU Monterey Bay and has been assisting the city manager, communications and housing offices at the city of Monterey since 2007. His documentary topics focus on local history in Monterey County, including the redevelopment of Fort Ord, abalone fishery and immigration and farm labor.
