The Young Voices Media Project provides high school and first- to second-year college students in the Salinas Valley hands-on instruction on the basics of media literacy, critical thinking, journalism, and news reporting from professional journalists. Students pitch ideas, conduct interviews, follow story leads and write/produce their own stories for Voices of Monterey Bay.
