Become a Junior Naturalist at Pacific Grove Natural History Museum

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a scientist?

The Junior Naturalist Club is the Museum’s exciting membership offering for children aged 7-12! The club promotes discovery and enjoyment of the natural world, while encouraging curiosity and exploration in its members. The club meets each month — typically every second Saturday — for an ‘excursion’ during which members will investigate a unique local ecosystem or animal. Excursions will be led and supervised by Museum education staff, and will range in length from 1-3 hours. These monthly excursions are limited to Junior Naturalist Club members only.

For more information, or to book a Junior Naturalist Adventure group visit, please contact Education Programs Manager Nick Stong atstong@pgmuseum.org.

Junior Naturalist Club Excursion

Next: Saturday, February 10th, 1:30 – 3PM at Pt. Pinos.

Join us as we explore Pt. Pinos tide pools during February’s member-exclusive excursion. We scramble, hop, and peer our way through the wonders of a low tide, while working together to uncover the life that hides amid the rocks.
