Supervisor Jane Parker will be the guest speaker at PWN Meeting about the Status of Women in Monterey County.

MONTEREY, CA, JANUARY 19, 2018 – Guest speaker Supervisor Jane Parker will address the Professional Women’s Network (PWN) Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the Bay Park Hotel, 1425 Munras Ave in Monterey.

Join Supervisor Parker for a discussion about the status of Women in Monterey County. Too many of our friends, neighbors, and colleagues are struggling but the good news is that when women step up into formal leadership roles, things get better for everyone. The 30% Solution theorizes that we only need to reach a goal of 30% women in leadership positions in order to see the institutional change that will best support women. Many of you are already leaders, doing critically important work in our community. It’s time to spread some of this leadership out of the volunteer and non-profit sector and into the business, management, and political sectors.
