Crona: Dennis Taylor is a crackerjack journalist

Just want to tell you, as an old ink-stained comrade of Dennis Taylor in the ’80s at The Greeley Tribune, I was delighted to read this fascinating story and see Dennis’ professional skills as crisp as ever.
As Tribune Sports Editor, he easily was the best writer in the place and probably the region.  I often secretly aspired to attain his rhetorical style, agility in interviews, encyclopedic knowledge about his subjects, and the wisdom that knowledge informed.  It never happened, but I did manage to improve later.
Dennis is a crackerjack journalist, as he proves again with this outstanding biography piece that makes you a cheering Joe Kapp fan, and I can’t think of a higher accolade for his storytelling skill or I would express it.  It’s so good to read Dennis’ work again!  I wish him the very best in life and am humbled to have had the opportunity to work with and learn from him, even in too short a time.
