    • Monterey County Behavioral Health’s toll free number (1-888-258-6029) is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Callers can talk to specialists who will provide a brief screening and then connect them to appropriate community resources, or schedule an appointment for an assessment with a county therapist.
    • Interim Inc. warm line provides support workers via phone, text or email on Mondays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The phone number for direct contacts is 831-800-7660, the text number is 831-998-7916 and the email address is omni@interiminc.org.
    • The National Alliance on Mental Illness is a support and education organization. For more information or to enroll in its signature educational programs, which are now being provided by teleconference, call 831-422-6264. NAMI provides comprehensive information about mental illness at nami.org.
    • NAMI Santa Cruz’s help line can be reached at 831-427-8020.
    • The Santa Cruz Behavioral Health Department continues to provide service by phone or by videoconferencing. The 24-hour access line is 800-952-2335.
    • A 24-hour bilingual suicide prevention hotline is at 877-663-5433.
