Roughly 80,000 people in Monterey and Santa Cruz counties depend on SNAP benefits Here’s where to get food if payments are cut off.

As of press time Saturday, a federal judge has ordered the Trump administration to fund the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits program, ideally in full by Monday but at a minimum, partially by Wednesday. Meanwhile, here are resources in both Monterey Bay counties if you or your family are in need of food.
