Marina Tree and Garden Club will hold its general meeting and winter potluck at 6 p.m. Jan. 23 in the Community Room of the Marina Library, 190 Seaside Circle, Marina.
Special speaker will be Jessica Bunn, farmer and florist from The Farm in Salinas, who will bring a selection of materials to demonstrate creation of nosegays or “field to table” flowers to take home. We’ll learn how to use flowers from our backyard gardens when they are in bloom. Participants are encouraged to bring interesting foliage from their homes to share.
Free and open to non-members. Bring your friends.
Potluck attendees should bring a savory or sweet dish and/or a non-alcoholic drink to share.
