‘Autumn Adventures’ open at PG Art Center

“Autumn Adventures in Art” is one of three awesome free exhibits now open until Dec. 13 at Pacific Grove Art Center.

Regular hours at the community, nonprofit Art Center, 568 Lighthouse, are noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. Donations keep the doors open; please give generously.

The Monterey Peninsula Art Foundation (MPAF) exhibit can be viewed in the Gill Gallery. The MPAF was conceived in the late 1970’s in Dick Crispo’s living room. Founding members included Kay Cline, Ilene Tuttle, Rudolpho Nava and of course Dick.

“The Monterey Peninsula Art Foundation was founded to bring artists together for fellowship, the exchange of ideas, and to further art education of the artists and the public,” a spokesman says. “We hold workshops and lectures, have a scholarship fund, and maintain a website which features our members’ work.”
