Area veterans, their families and guests are invited to a public Veterans Day BBQ on Sunday, Nov. 11 from noon until 3 p.m. at the Monterey Elks Lodge, 150 Mar Vista Dr. Veterans will eat free!
Hamburgers, hot dogs and all the trimmings will be served in the lower BBQ area of the Lodge, enjoying a full Monterey Bay view. Prices for adults will be $10, and $5 for children 12 and younger.
Veterans are welcome to wear their military uniform or other memorabilia and may be asked to show their DD Form 214 or a Veterans designation on a driver’s license when served.
