Dog-Friendly Hikes Subject of C.V. Friends of the Library Talk

David and Linda Mullally, featured speakers at Carmel Valley’s First Saturday Program Series on December 2, 2017 at 10:15 am.

The Carmel Valley Friends of the Library are proud to present adventurer and author Linda Mullally.
Inspired by nature and love of dogs, Linda Mullally, with her photographer-husband David, has written numerous hiking guides. Some of the best-known titles include “Best Dog Hikes Central California”, “Hiking Pinnacles National Park” and “Coastal Trails of Northern California Including Best Dog Friendly Beaches.”
Linda and David do local presentations for REI and various community organizations. She also writes a travel column, ‘Away We Go,’ for the Monterey Herald.

They have explored the highest mountain kingdoms from the Sierra Nevada and Canadian Rockies to the Himalaya and Andes. They are advocates for dog owners and their furry family members, encouraging access to open spaces for recreation. When not sharing her travel adventures hiking, biking and cruising with readers, Linda combines her passion for outdoor recreation with her love of dogs by training four-legged hikers to become well-mannered trail companions.

David Mullally brings his passion for photography and video to the chemistry of this remarkable creative couple. A professional photographer, his work has appeared in numerous galleries and publications. He is a practicing attorney, whose writings appear in legal journals, and his photos compliment the writings of his wife.

This free program at the Carmel Valley Branch is being hosted by the Friends of the Carmel Valley Library as part of the popular First Saturday Program Series. Refreshments will be served. Seating is limited. For information, please call the Library at 659-2377.
