Downtown Docents for Salinas is recruiting volunteers. Senior Citizens, students looking for a creative way to get community hours, or anyone who enjoys local history. Become literate in Steinbeck’s neighborhood and then share the information with others.
The first training session is on Nov. 30, at 3 p.m. at the 411 Information Center, 222 Main St., Salinas. RSVP with the Downtown Docent Coordinator, Laureen Diephof at ldiephof@sbcglobal.net.
