Taylor Armstrong, a television personality featured in “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” will be featured at the annual Domestic Abuse Awareness Month Luncheon hosted by the YWCA of Monterey County on Oct. 27 in Monterey.

Taylor is a philanthropist, an author and a survivor of domestic abuse. She is an outspoken domestic violence victim’s advocate and the President of the Taylor Armstrong Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting victims and their families. She is a New York Times bestselling author for her book, Hiding from Reality, in which she shared her personal story of surviving abuse. Taylor is best known for her role on Bravo’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She has also appeared on television shows for VH1, WeTV and Oprah’s OWN network.

Tickets for the event are $60 each, or $500 for a table of ten. The luncheon begins at 11:30 p.m. at the Intercontinental The Clement in Monterey.
