Salinas Valley activists held a press conference in front of the Monterey County Board of Supervisors chamber to call attention to the high levels of fumigant 1-3 Dichloropropene found at Ohlone School in Royal Oaks. The press conference was held to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the publication of “The Silent Spring.”
