Thanksgiving Dinner planned for Castroville

The North Monterey County LULAC Council will be hosting the annual Castroville Thanksgiving Feast where over 1000 community members, half of which are children, will be served a traditional Thanksgiving meal from 11 am to 2 pm. Community members are invited to join us for this special free event.

The Thanksgiving Feast has been a tradition for over 27 years that was started by the Cava family to help families who may not have the means to prepare a holiday meal, and for community members who do not want to be alone on Thanksgiving Day.

Adult and Teenage Volunteers are needed on Wednesday, 11/27/19 from 1 to 4 p.m., and on Thanksgiving Day, 11/29/19 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. to help set-up, bus tables, serve, wash dishes, and clean.  If you would like to volunteer, please sign-up by 11/24/19 at the following link: http://bit.ly/2019CastrovilleThanksgivingFeast

For more information, please e-mail us at; Castrovillethanksgivingfeast@gmail.com.

Monetary donations are needed. If you would like to contribute, please make checks payable to: NMC LULAC and mail to P.O. Box 1359, Castroville, CA 95012

Thank you and wishing you a safe and warm place to call home this holiday season filled with good food, family, and friends.
