Carmel, CA — The Arts Council for Monterey County is pleased to announce “Beyond The Golf Course: A Cultural Road Trip Through Monterey County” from June 10-16, a special collaboration with 20 arts organizations across Monterey County.
During the week of the 2019 U.S. Open Championship, partnering arts organizations in Carmel, Pacific Grove, Monterey, Seaside, Marina, Salinas and King City will host extended gallery hours, special events, live performances, arts classes and youth programs for locals and visitors alike.
“Our goal is to show visitors our thriving creative sector,” said Paulette Lynch, Executive Director of the Arts Council for Monterey County. “For those interested in stepping off the golf course for a break from the action, there’s a vibrant art scene waiting in each town. Our grantees, board members and community partners are involved in special projects all over the county, and we can’t wait to show you.”
