‘The End of Policing’ author to speak at Hartnell

On Thursday, March 14 Alex Vitale, author of “The End of Policing” will be speaking at Hartnell College. This event, which starts at 6 pm, is free to the public and is being hosted by the Hartnell College Ethnic Studies Department in partnership with Building Healthy Communities East Salinas (BHC), MILPA, and Baktun 12.

Vitale, a well renowned author and speaker will be going over topics in his book and how it relates to communities such as Salinas and Sacramento. Vitale will also be accompanied by a panel of local academics and community organizers.
